I picked this up on the sale rack at Barnes and Noble last week. "The Dead of Winter"" by Bill WARNOCK. It details the efforts of American and Belgian relic hunters who recovered and identified the remains of American casualties from the Second World War. They did it as a way to honor the memory of the dead, and sought no reward. A very interesting read, even if one has no interest in relic retreival
