Interesting hinged clasp ?

So, forest setting, 6 inches down ..and i pull this out of the dirt..





Cleaned it in various solutions..


So it is hinged , limited movement due to type, nice details, brass...
Some sort of clasp or closing ?...
Little heart detail, feminine ?
Maybe a horse bag ?

Any ideas welcome.

10cm (4 inch) long 11g ( 0.4 oz) weight..

Brass/copper type things, the Nox loves. Pinpoints like Alu, so high..... I use 50 tones, but so far have only heard maybe 10 different tones... still waiting for the tone that shouts 'jackpot' ...
