Hunting an old house site today and found an 1899 Barber dime, a 1900 indian head penny, an 1838 large cent and what looks like an 1818 large cent, all in a four foot area.
Could that area once have contained the dreaded “clothes line”? I’ve found similar mixes at my 1750’s permission. Memorials, wheats, indians and a large cent all in a 6 foot area at different depths
