Got what I thought was a routine sales call yesterday (which I don't usually answer) that turned out to be a guy from the Gallup poll service taking a survey about my experiences with Wells Fargo. I've been with them for 22 years but rarely use them for CRH purposes. In fact, I've only gotten one box of nickels from them this year and they charged a $4 fee because I wasn't a merchant account. I wasn't happy but didn't make a stink about it. I just never asked for boxes again.
Anyway, when the guy got to a general question about "have I had any experiences that I'd consider poor service recently" I thought "Ooooh, here's my opportunity!" and I laid out the box fee story. He asked me if I'd like someone from WF to contact me regarding this and I said sure. We'll see if they actually do.
Then I had a little fun with the guy. I asked "So WF pays you guys to do phone surveys like this?" and he said yes, so I remarked "Ah, that's why I'm getting these extra fees."
