Well, Jeff and I found a private property to hunt today, by a store, in a house. We just settled into detecting when I got a pocket spill --a quarter and penny in one hole. No big deal, but a good start. Then Jeff's cell phone rang and I thought he had to go home cause his wife may be sick. Nope, turns out a neighbor of his in construction wanted us to haul away some metal roofing off an old garage...and it may be aluminum. Wooohooo. It was!!!! And some steel too.
We can hunt any day! Packed up detecto, got trailer, and headed into Dayton. Turns out we got just over $50 for the load. The best part was that we had the fun of going to the junk yard, too--a guy thing ladies.
Then tonight, wife and I went out for an Italian supper.
Best thing, Bambi, the store owner, said come back and detect anytime.
We shall dig again (raise hand and shout) up, up, and away!
