Teaching 9yr old Nephew how to hunt for tomorrow.😁

My little 9 year old nephew decided to come stay with Us for a Christmas pass We gave all the nieces and nephews.
He decided he wanted to metal detect while he was here. You know Me, Sweet🤣! I used this evening to teach him how to dig plugs and detect in Our back yard. After he got the hang of it I let him go and We were both detecting. He found 4 Quarters and a Nickel on his own.
He's like did You throw these out here. I laughed and said no I have just never hunted Our yard.
About 5 minutes after I get a screaming half dollar signal. Can't believe that about 6" deep was a heavy Silver Ring🤦‍♂️ Wow!!! Great time and Fun teaching him. I'll take him tomorrow on a little hunt. Silver#6fty. Thanks for looking &

Same here-I've never hunted my own lawn-surrounding bush and field-I've lived in it.
