Found this at cavalry site. I can't remember if I posted this before. I finally started cleaning it. It's got some letters and numbers on it, hard to make them out . Maybe it's the maker and year? . The end is broken off and the back is flat. It screwed on to something . Any opinions, thanks for looking.

Upon further inspection it has a star on it and some larger letters. I don't have a clue
