Possible V8 emblem from old Ford car.

Interesting. Would that have been made from iron?

It looks like a crusted over battery terminal to me.
What is sticking out of the side of it?

I don't think this is a V8 emblem.

It looks like where the blade attaches to the handle on an M9 bayonet.

Remains of a cycle bar mower tooth? (Older than these modern samples).

somebodys old makeshift fishing sinker probably, doesnt tell you what it was but maybe its purpose when lost. people were cheap in the old days when it came to sinkers. spark plugs made awesome ones!

I thought it could be that too. Thank you for your suggestion.

I think you might be correct. It Looks like a very old version possibly pre civil war. I need to carefully clean it up. And then use electrolosys. It’s very delicate. Thank you for figuring it out.
