Iron Station NC Prospecting

[OKIE]

I'm new to the Iron Station area and looking for some creeks in the area to prospect. Hickory NC is about 30 miles north of me. My only other option is go to Thermal City and PAY to dredge in their creek.

Been there done that!

If anyone knows someone who know someone who know someone, that may let me pan or put my 3" high banker on their creek please let me know.

All I can do is invite you to our GPAA club meeting in Kannapolis. It is the Matthews chapter. We meet the second Wednesday of each month. Talk to Bill at Carolina Prospectors in Statesville for directions.

Thanks for the reply Enamel7! I work in Concord. I use to be a GPAA member but i haven't signed back up in the last 3 years. I would love to start going to the meetings. If you have any contact information you could along that would be great!
