Iron Trunk Clasp

Found this in a wooded lot, Looks like I found the trash dump and still tracking down the house plot.
Put this old beauty in some vinegar for a few days and this is it. I hope to get it all clean and find the lower part. Been looking around on the online and found it most like an 1800's hasps clasp.

That's a very cool piece. Maybe a little electrolysis would clean it up.
