Is any body out there hunting this morning. It was pouring down rain here and I really considered going out anyway because what the H... I was going to get wet anyway... but ended up not going. NOW I wish I had. I bet I missed a good one this morning. **sigh**

Here in Kentucky, I'm huddled at my desk, staying dry. We are under our first decent rain in many moons...........

We really needed it, but it does detract from the enjoyment of being outside.

I am entering grades and looking at a cool, breezy, overcast sky this Friday afternoon. Not very conducive to being in the water here in coastal NC.

it was 31 this morning at 8 am, but the water was too rough anyway. I land hunted the first 5 years but gave it up after trying the water. Dug out the suitcases, we depart next week for 1000 miles further northwest to visit my sister in Thunder Bay before crossing the border and heading for Arizona where we winter for 6 mths. The one thing about water hunting, it can pour cats & dogs but your not going to get any wetter than you already are. so get out and and get soaked ha!

the best time to detect is just after the rain, there is no one around to bother you and the ground is easy to dig...
