Is GW in the cufflink?

Dug this cufflink at very old colonial site. Didn’t see the bust behind the clear glass until I cleaned it. Looks like GW in there. Ha ha. I know it’s probably just a fancy civilian cufflink but if anyone knows anything more about it please comment.

Neat find. Definitely some colonial dandy, but unless it says GW, you can never be sure!

Yep, seeing the written words is a dead giveaway. Lots of British stuff from this site. It’s probably a William the something?
