Is it me or is the Top TreasureNet Finds-Not

I have sort of wondered if it's really just my viewpoint on this, or does anyone else see it.

The header

Top TreasureNet Finds!​

It's a never ending picture header of snap shots from posters recoveries.
Which is ok, don't get me wrong as there's realistic everyday recovery photos of what members have posted up over the years.

But they're not "TOP" not even close in my book.

The "BANNER WAS TOP" now it's not even featured.
It changed awhile back, got watered down, then taken right off the header like it was shameful to have it displayed.
Seriously it was what it was "THE BANNER"

I hope this get's some administration thinking that control the looks of this forum because that change generally sucks in my books.

They are TNet random pictures of finds, the software selects, not chosen by us.

The new software does not allow the rotating banner, I have requested to get a new forum above "Today's Finds" that will be new Banner Finds forum.

I realize the Administration didn't choose the photos.
The new software needs to have a hardware rewrite on this one.

Having it above "Just the today's finds works"
Having the old banner back would work as well.

I agree, unfortunately per admins new software will not do a rotating banner, so I'm trying to get new forum that is at the top of forum so it is honored.

No we are still doing banners, just trying to work something new since we lost the rotating banner on last software upgrade.

Do a "Banner Forum" at top of main forum above "Today's Finds".

There is now a banner forum just above "Today's Finds". Also the rotating pictures in the "Top TreasureNet Finds" at top of forum now only shows pictures from banner finds.

If you click on picture it should take you to the thread to get thread title. I Can't click on your picture to find thread.

When I first joined TreasureNet, the rotating banner find bar was super motivating. Always thought, Man it'd be cool to have something that I found up there. Never thought I'd find something worth being up there, but I have done it. Not seeing the banner bar up top is a real bummer.

Stop complaining about the looks of the Forum and just be glad you have a decent and nice place to drop into when ever you want and live through others adventures. This Forum is fantastic especially for us older guys that don';t get out detecting as much as we used to or would like to either do to life getting in the way or health issues or even worse old age setting in. This Forum is the first place I check out in the morning and the last place I check out before turning off the computer for the evening. I love it the way it is and hope it doesn't change or God forbid go by way of the dust bin of life like so many other metal detecting forums have in the past few years.

Software is now pulling pictures from banner threads in Banner forum, when banner threads have multiple pictures software may draw from any picture in the banner post, if post has 10 pictures one of which makes banner software may sometimes draw one of the non banner pictures in the banner thread.

I have reported it, not sure how or even if it can be fixed to only draw bannered picture without software editing.

Banner finds are okay, but I lost interest in them when my 14k gold wristwatch find didn't get a banner! Just about every gold coin gets a banner, but not my rare 1960's Omega Constellation wristwatch! You'd think that would be a no brainer to get a banner, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! It's not worthy!
