Welcome to Tnet.

The mark is one of those used by Oscar Schaller & Co. of Schwarzenbach from 1921 until they became Gebrüder Winterling A.G in 1950.

Since it says “Western Germany” and the country was not formally divided into East and West until after the war in 1949, that gives you a probable date of c.1949/1950.

It’s not possible to see the pattern from your picture (it looks fairly plain), nor whether it’s a coffee pot or teapot (it looks like it might be a coffee pot, which would have a taller profile than the more squat teapots). Not likely to be terribly valuable, with prices starting around $15.

If you Google for >Oscar Schaller & Co Coffee Pot< (or ‘teapot’ as appropriate) you’ll find lots of ebay sellers, many of whom have an unrealistic expectation of value and some of whom are incorrectly representing their offerings as more desirable pre-war items (which are just marked 'Bavaria' or 'Bavaria Germany')
