Is there any hope for 2018?

If you look right along of this terrible photo of my bedroom back in the late 60's early 70's you can see the miniatures along the top shelf. (enlarge photo)

There are artists that love working with glass, sea glass being the most popular. I have seen and spoke to a few that were interested in glass/pottery/china that can be used in jewelry making and other items.

Great looking display of bottles and glass, many look very familiar from the collection of years ago. The small display of miniature bottles as we had quite a few of them also 45yrs ago though so they're getting some age to them also.
So many favourites medicines, inks, anything embossed are always a welcomed sight coming out of the dirt.

Have you a probe?

Digging glass anywhere is the best, any other relics that come along is just a bonus.

Dig-dig-till can dig no more!

Thank you, pepperj. Yes I have a probe. My friend and I paced off all directions from the old foundation and probed and dug and found nothing. It appears this creek area was originally a ravine that they threw their trash out the door and into. Also, a possibility that at some point the house (?)/building fell down or was dozed and buried.

wow! That's quite a collection!

My daughter's mother-in-law is an art teacher. I have invited her over, offered the glass to her for years now. No action. I gave our grandkids metal detectors for Christmas this year. She liked that and expressed more interest in coming over. So maybe this will be the year.

There was two large shelving units in the bedroom this is the 13' one the other was 8'. Then we had a large built in lit shadow box in the hall that the showcase glass were displayed. After digging so much glass in the early years it's sort of humdrum sometimes.
We have 5 dump sites on the property that I have located so far.
None of them I have dug out yet completely, just scratched around and located some 3 piece molds, medicine, poison, milk bottles.
Slowly making another collection up from the property, no hurry as it's not going anywhere soon.

Well! I would say I'm encouraged now! I can't imagine it being humdrum, but I'm pretty much just starting out. Very sweet collection!!!
