Let me say this up front....
I know Marc is a busy man and doesn't have time to do what I am proposing.
I have seen a bunch of great looking finds posted here from members outside the U.S.A. that never made it on the banner. I'm not saying they are being slighted on purpose. It seems like we need people designated to research those finds and decide if they need to be on the banner.
What do all of you think? Don't hold back if you think it's a bad idea...

Even when I posted the rarity and approx. value (which I guessed low) I think most on the forum couldn't get past the fact it wasn't real pretty. Anyway the bottom line is this is not a big deal, and if we make a big deal it's going to start to take the fun out of it. The way I see it is it just motivates me to find something that wows them so much they don't even have to think about putting it on the banner. The find is where I get my high/satisfaction, the banner... whatever!
Hey, they dropped the ball bigtime on my best this year but I don't hold it against them. ok a little laughing7
