✅ SOLVED Is this a hood ornament or something else?

Found at an estate sale for an avid car collector. I know Lalique made some crazy expensive hood ornaments (this isn’t a Lalique, I’m just saying I know glass hood ornaments exist), so could this be a hood ornament? I don’t even know if the old ones attached like that.

Any thoughts on what else it could be? I couldn’t find anything like it on the internet and ChatGPT thinks it’s a hood ornament.

Thank you! I don’t understand how I’ve spent days searching for “frosted glass lute player” and numerous variations and came back empty handed. Did image searched and everything but still nothing.

I did the "image search" - guess I lucked it out. It was the very first match displayed.
