Found this recently detecting near a rockpile/dump on an old family farm. We know there were at least 3 different motorcycles owned by family members from the 1930's to the 1960's. When I picked it up I thought is was a motorcycle fender but I have no idea if it front or back or what type of machine it was on. Maybe there is a motorcycle fan out there that will recognize it.

Solution
It looks like an auto bumper trim to me ? this ones not the same but note the attachment point similarities also one side of your find is notched , which fenders are not in my opinion.
