Is this a "real" Spanish coin?

I posted pics of some jewelry I bought at an auction and this pendant is of a coin. I assumed it was just some silver fashioned to look like an old coin. It was suggested that I post pictures in this forum. Can you guys tell if this coin is possibly real any other information on it?

need to take it out of the frame
weigh it, and give us close up pictures of both side

Thanks for the help. I finally found a local coin shop and they immediately said it was purely fashion. I sold it as such on eBay.
