Is this a silver spoon?

My dad found this spoon yesterday very thin can't find a back Mark. Some thing at top back looks like a number.any help would be appreciated it does look old.

Looks older but also looks plated. If you can't find a hallmark its probably silver plated

It looks plated but it could be silver too bad there's nothing on the back still great find!!

It does look plated. You can't make out any writing on the back? 99% or more said sterling or 925 on them. Very rare to see one that isn't marked. A jeweler would know for certain.

There is something that looks like 99 percent but worn can't make it out on top of the back of the spoon.

Very nice, try wiping the "99" area of the spoon with a little olive oil. Use a Q-tip. Very light coating. It might bring out some details.
