Yes it is a modern token and they are usually called a Manufacturers Stock Arcade tokens. The red paint indicates that it was used by the maintenance workers to make sure the game was operating correctly. When the workers tally the reciepts for taxes they don't have to count the painted tokens because the games were not paid for. These are usually valued at 25 cents each as that is what they cost atthe arcades. siegfried schlagrule
