Or just a rock? Found this just a few feet away from where my buddy found a perfect point, notched and all. To me this looks like it has been worked, has sharp edges and maybe made from chert?? Strange shape though, as if it was being worked on and thrown away, or maybe unfinished.

In the 3rd pic it looks worked to me. It has the look of a spokeshave in the curved area. I don't think it was a projectile point and looks more like it was a scraping tool. I would have brought it back too.

It's definately worked, I agree it isn't an arrowhead but might be a scraper

It looks worked.. Unsure what it was.

Does this look like it is made from chert?

I believe it is an arrowhead. In the first pic the left side that has a chip missing looks like it would have been the bottom so ur missing the tip.

Its a cutting tool. If it is worked on all sides then it isn't broken. Could of been a point at one time then worked down to a tool. I find many with that half circle on them for making cordage or scraping small bones. Nice keeper

Definitely a triangle point, Madison or Levanna... And there are a pile of other names for these simple triangle points... The side with the little ding is the base and the tip has been completely exhausted from use and then discarded. There was a site in New Jersey where one guys pulled over 800 perfect examples himself, not included the broken and exhausted pieces.... Id keep going back to that spot!!!

Yep.. Looks like a little triangle point with some damage to me

Agreed!

Finally got a pic of the point my buddy found the same day as the one I found above. What do you think? This one was found just feet away from the one I found.
