I noticed recently that I would occasionally get a false signal when the could would come into contact with small plants (weeds, etc.), so I looked at my coil and saw a small chip. I looked at it with an 8x loupe, and it doesn't go through the plastic, and no internal wiring is exposed. Should I fill it with 2 part epoxy, or leave it alone, or something else? I've used it in saltwater without any issues, it's just when I bump plants (wet or dry). This coil is the Pro coil for the Explorer SE, btw.
