Wow, you might be a redneck if

you come that close to chopping off your daughters fingers, for a penny.

Yep.

I'v seen them on EBay for sale that way also.

Dosn't realy Matter for hunting but always
think it's funny how some just don't seem to know.

aspparently They don't Look at the Owners manual,
Or just like to be different :P

May also help to keep the Coil Flat when Scrubbing
on coils that don't have a center connection.

So there may be an Up-side

Also they Sound British.
Maybe it like Driving on the other side the road :P

Hope they were somewhere that someone wasn't going to notice the shovel and the damage they were doing. Looks like they had dug another hole close by ...by the looks of the soil in the grass. Chopping it up with a shovel to find what's in your plug?

Al

But...a nice family thing anyhow...

Looks backwards to me. Can't imagine you can turn up the sensitivity to high, you might pick up the pole with the coil or cable underneath it. Just doesn't seem right. ???

I had to sideline for awhile, too much quarreling, brand defensiveness, and seeing certain people waging war on others. It got to be too silly for me after awhile..

I've seen that now and then too.

Mostly it's just people who don't know anything more than what they learned from some other loonie-tune, like the people who buy White's that "tells you what's in the ground before you dig it up"?

It's about the same thing as someone who uses their spinning reel upside-down and doesn't even have a clue.... After all, in America, for example, the average IQ is 93, and 92 in England, while in Japan it's 113. Is it any wonder what an average person will do in their own country?
I've been asked now and then if; "it picks it up right out of the ground", and the other one is; "why are you using a vacuum cleaner out here"?

Let me think for a moment.. Oh, yes! What country is it that rakes peas on top of an upside-down fork? Hmmm...?

And we think we really are "at the top of the food chain"?

Agree, it's for better balance. I've seen that suggestion on another site. I tried it with my heaviest coil. It helped a little but I didn't like it and changed it back.

My question is why isn't the coil reacting to the rod?
Is it PVC or something?

all of the coils I have seen react both up and down.
Maybe a new thing ... hmmmmm
