Sterling (925) silver indeedy. The ‘lion supporting a shield with the letter W’ mark is for the Whiting Manufacturing Company of New York, NY. The pattern is ‘King Albert’, designed by Adolph Reimherr and introduced in 1919. The very stylised letter ‘G’ on the front of the handle is a bespoke monogram for a particular customer.
