John,
You have been posting some incredible finds since you joined TNet!!

I wonder though why you NEVER reply to anyone's questions or even comment again about a find once you have posted a coin!

I know for a FACT that there are LOTS of folks here that want to know more about your hunts. You do not have to reveal any particulars that would reveal much, but it would be nice to learn more about your hunts.
We are sponges for anything that might help us to find coins like that.

Don't be silly John.... LOTS of us get invited on hunts with people we've never met...or asked to take others hunting.
Sometimes we DO meet up and new friendships are started!
Sometimes (often) we politely decline.
Describing offers to purchase old coins or requests from others to help them out as "hassles" seems a bit much though. It's to be expected when someone (you) obviously knows what they are doing.

I know one thing for sure. EVERYONE here LOVES to hear details about hunts...especially when such beautiful old coins are found. Folks like to learn about how to research old spots. Folks like to hear ANYTHING that might help them to become better at this hobby.

John first of all it is a shame you feel that way! I think if you want to be left alone to hunt that is fine. If you don't want to sell your coins that is fine. If you don't want to take other th'ers out that is fine. I don't think It is right for you to just disappear, obviously with your finds everyone enjoys seeing them. If you don't want to respond because you feel hassled...i guess it is up to you then, that is fine. But please give me that large cent you found! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;DJust kidding!
