I went to CT for this event. It was Ok. Folks found some good items, but, like usual, some folks came away with very little. Subterrix needs to take some tips from Digstock ... DS is much more organized with all the helpful things, like interactive maps with well-defined boundaries, etc., that make it easier and ups your chances. It is their first event, however, so I give them a break. Their web tools tell you quite a bit, but everyone was somewhat unsure of where everything was and where they could detect ... what they said was a cellar hole, or holes, was not actually a cellar hole, for instance. Lidar without eyeballs on the ground can be misleading.
I would have come out of there with shotgun shells, cartridges and iron relics, but I did find a colonial shoe buckle in pretty good shape.
