This is a plastic play coin that has “transogram gold metal” which May have come from a vintage game. I was chasing a penny when this was also in the hole.
Anyone know when these were made?

Ok seriously,
Today's clad take was a dollar coin, 2 quarters some dimes and pennies.

The old stuff is a 1941D and a 1941 Jefferson along with a 1958D wheatie.

Alright now you have to admit, this is pretty cool.
In researching this play coin, I found out that it comes from a game developed in 1948 by Transogram.
The game was called Big Business National Money Game. It was their answer to Milton Bradley,s popular Monopoly but obviously did not grow in popularity as Monopoly did. It was a very similar game. Later games did not use the “Indian Head” but switched to a plain plastic coin with no image in the 50s. I would have never found this if I wasn’t chasing a penny. It was deeper so I don’t think they were lost at the same time. ALWAYS CHECK YOUR HOLES. THIS PIECE IS A GREAT PIECE OF HISTORY.

I've got 1959 edition of that game that I bought at a church garage sale for 25 cents. Never have played it. Mine has the plain 'coins' which are small see-through yellow plastic discs

Nice hunt & finds, like finding those unique non-metal objects in the hole that would otherwise be gone forever, congrats on all & HH
