Can anybody date this? Circa? cannot find this anywhere. Says patent pending. I dont think it was ever patented and was used just before the crown cap came out but i dont know.

Well since J.O Eaton was a pioneer in the automotive parts and equipment and based on what I have read about his early acquisitions of other companies It would be my guess this would be an automotive or equipment part. What do you think Don?
