It took a lickin'

I went out this afternoon for a short hunt. I rarely hunt in the afternoon but my hubby took a long nap so what's a girl to do? GO HUNTING! And I did for a couple of hours. I got a few hits so that was good but nothing to get too excited about. I did manage to find a watch. It's a Timex - It "takes a licken and keeps on ticken" - but this one didn't. It is full of water, I don't think you can tell from the picture but trust me.... it's full of water! I ended up with 42 cents and this watch. It was great out there today can't wait for tomorrow.

Not very many trash items, 42 cents,
a "wanna-be" Rolex and not one fish-hook!!
Maybe that elusive gold ring will be waiting for

That got me to thinking that I didn't find one watch this year and I usually get acouple.

Well, mumszie, I do believe it's more change than I've dug lately, lol. And if you look down at the pull tabs with an imagination, they can really resemble diamond rings. Boy oh boy, I think I must be way overdue. --Jerry
