It's Saturday and I usually do yard-saling early in the morning....but I hadn't MD'd for almost 4 weeks so I wanted to make that a priority--and do the yard sales later on. Checking out an area about a mile north of downtown, I saw that they had recently demolished a hotel building, though the main building was still operational. It's an old area of town so I figured it was about as good a place as any.
After an 1-1/2 hour hunt and lots of targets, I was able to find several clad dimes, a handful of memorials, a wheat penny, and the 1895 Barber dime. I found the Barber in the curb section of the demolished hotel property. I imagine back in the day this would have been a walking area(without the sidewalk). Glad people dropped their change back in the day or I wouldn't have this neat hobby to enjoy today! HH (Coins haven't been cleaned yet)
