Thanks for all the comments. :icon_thumleft:

Congrats on the finds..........That gold ring is a monster, nice score

Well done for being out there. This is what makes the difference between a good hunter & a madman, I mean excellent hunter :icon_thumright:

:icon_thumright: Awesome ring...and the strangest looking Barber I have ever seen! What on earth attacked that thing?

Your "couple of hours" was better then most of my 8+ hour days. Good job! The barber looks kinda cool like that.

To be honest that Barber would have been in nice shape as far as not being worn. Too bad something ate it. Nice job on all the finds!

Thank you all, I think the barber is the bomb!!!!

That is a great old ring. Most of the time when I find them that large and with that style of stamping inside the band they are fake. It is nice to see that it is possible that some of them were actually gold!

I also usually find those in older sites. I think researching the markings inside that gold band will reveal it to be 100+ years old.
Really, I would be interested in knowing how old it is. It has a W after the 14K, but it's sideways, so it may be an M? It has a crude splice in it, so I thought that may be a clue that it is old. :dontknow:
