I always enjoy getting out but I enjoy finding the most. Most of these have tip damage but still a good day. The flat rock in the upper left corner of the group pic is a Hoe I do believe and the rock looks like it was in a fire pit cause it is heat treated made it red and tan. The point in the bottom right is made from a rough material but shows work on the edges like a Hafted scraper. Flake knifes are always fun to find and then there is some worked flint and 1 piece of pottery I kept due to the designs. Found a few golf balls and a fishing rod which needs a good cleaning.

Not to diminish the rock finds...but that rod n' reel might be the killer find of the day my friend! It all depends on the brand.

I was hoping for a good brand name on it. But still a $150 combo. Reel wasnt a great name I have seen the prices of reels but this one isnt high.

Nice finds, thanks for sharing.
One time out looking for agates I could have came home with dozens of golf balls if I wanted to. A bunch of them washed up on the shore of Lake Superior after a storm. I left them thinking someone else might want them more. It is interesting how moving water has a tendency to sort things.

We always pick up the golf balls, usually plenty of them, nice finds!

Thanks it was a fun day. Guess I will give the golf balls away seeing they dont sell for much for used.
