It was a great day for my first PLATE!!

Went out on my first hunt in almost a year with Addam’s Artifacts and Relic Hunting and it was definitely a great day. Metal detecting a lowcountry SC plantation site paid off big time. It turned out to be my best day metal detecting yet. Check out my finds!

War of 1812 3rd Regiment of Artillery button

Never seen this backmark. I’ve dug plenty that say “PLATED” but never one that says “PLAQUE”

And my favorite find of the day... Early 1800s Milita belt plate!!!

Overall it was a great day for relic hunting and everybody did well! Saw multiple War of 1812 buttons come out and a script I Confederate infantry button.
