Hi,

I've been searching for gold chains online as of late, and can't help but be sketchy about italian gold, the price seems a little too good to be true...

I just want to know, is there any way to verify the authenticity online or request something from the seller?

The GS stamp on the gold you have pictured means gold shell or outer casing over the base metal, whatever that may be. GF stamp means gold filled, both not very valuable. I can't read the rest of what's stamped other than the J which may mean the year/manufacturer.

Deals on gold on eBay exist. You need to be really wise about Who you buy from.

Sometimes poor photos are an excellent thing. And sometimes a poor photo can be purposely deceitful.

If the seller has a good reputation, but you can see that they don’t usually sell jewelry or coins, those are the deals that I like

Italian gold, all that I have found have been fake but I know that there is some good stuff out there. Good luck on your decision
