Is there anything Specific about this piece?? Approximate decade it was made?
The only 2 things I notice it seems stainless steel underneath the coating ( because it expands very little and there is quite a counter resistance) , its Non-magnetic, and The ends are not very symmetrical.
There is no Markings whatsoever!
Its about 3 OZ heavy .
Thank You for any Comments !

That's nice. The question is... authentic period piece or modern interpretation?

It's a cuff bracelet in the style worn by women of the 'Hill People' in the 'Golden Triangle' of Southeast Asia, and specifically the Akha people in Northern Thailand, and bordering parts of China and Vietnam. Like this one from c1900:

Period examples are in silver, unassayed and unmarked, often produced from melted-down coins.

i forgot to say Thank You, Red-Coat !

Mine has bronze or brass coating, Or non-standard brass coating.
Also I dont see any geometric patterns engraved at the curved endings.
So it must be replica!
Also, why would they want to coat silver? In recent decades i mean...

His is a reproduction piece.
The Hill Tribes really did some great silver work.
From buying there in 1992/3 I got to see a lot of hand made stuff.

It's the same for most SE Asian countries where vintage jewelry was made. Then the styles became popular, hence the cheap knockoff started to get mass produced.

Neat find for $ 3.00
Well the man was selling hundreds of watches, some China made but many Original mid-century Japanese as well as USA made. Most were new or barely used.
He was telling an inquisitive Lady that either his wife's last parent or his own ( I don't recall ) had died. But there was no Will written ( not found maybe ) and almost guaranteed the State of Illinois would take the deceased parent's house.
Don't remember details but what he and his wife was selling was from the inventory inside that other house.

Yes i am planning to have it scanned. And I need to weigh it again as I forgot the exact weight
I doubt it contains any Silver . The website Red-Coat provided lists the Originals- Silver ones- at 129 grams.
This one is about 93 grams.
Will test the alloy soon.
