Very cool find. Just don't put it with any other rabbits. I hear they multiply well. :) HH

Not only a rabbit, but a Japanese rabbit! I hear they have a yen for carrots...

LOL you guys are killing LOL:laughing9:

what a hare raising find!

I assume it is cast iron? It is absolutely wonderful and I'd take it any day over a old coin. Can you tell us how you found it. If buried, how deep?

Cool find dennco2000!

That would look so sweet in a garden.

Dennco: No doubt you'll find a good spot in the home for that hopper! Whatever you do with
it, it's a way-cool find IMO, and as said it beats a coin any day..:occasion14:

Hope to find something like that one day, and then have it glass beaded to get rid
of the rust, and repaint it in cool colors for the wife's garden (indoor, or out).

Makes me want to get out and do some relic hunting!

Looks like a Chocolate rabbit! YuMmmMY :blob9:

very cool!! congrats

any chance it's a coin bank? I collect antique still banks and some were 'conversions', meaning the company that produced them as a cast door stop later changed the mold by adding a coin slot and converting their product to a coin bank as a way to increase sales. either way it's a really cool find

Funny bunny and worth some some money makes treasure hunters puny

I found it just inches under the soil testing a new detector. We have a little house we bought just as a weekend get away from a Dr. The house/mobile home is 1970 and it was there where I found the rabbit. I think the rabbit is older than 1970 but I'm speculating that since I haven't done much research on it. All I know is it was a common door stop in the past.

Hey alright wabbit season...
