Since I found anything worth posting I pick this up last night at an auction but I can’t find any information on the maker can anybody recognize it would be greatly appreciate thank you
Good to see you back Cheech. Don’t know who the maker is but the pin is definitely Brutalist. Try searching utilizing that key word. Either way you should sell it as a Brutalist piece.
Here’s a couple other things that came with the brooch that I bought
Milos waterproof 19 jewels incabloc alarm watch not much information found on this one still looking
Tabbah gold and sterling charm bracelet
and some miscellaneous junk costume jewelry that this was hiding in for $80
And here’s a couple things found today
1960’s (?) Dorly 25 rubies automatic water elf incabloc dive watch missing outer ring $10 still looking up information on this one
14k (Per acid test) but my be goldfilled opera glasses $30 can’t find any marks going to take him to we buy gold place that has the machine
And this devilish face pin that is bronze or brass with red rhinestones just thought it looked unique no markings
And still working on that brooch if I find anything I will let y’all know thanks for looking
Little update on the watches and the opera glasses so far what I found on the Dorly watch is that it came with interchangeable blazes and it’s from the 60s and from what I read the watch was made before The company turned into Tenor-Dorly I found one for sale they were asking 900 there is one that is on WorthPoint but I have no subscription to that so I’m guessing around three or 400 value as is
And for the milos watch I still cannot find one like it with The alarm ?
For the opera glasses I Took it to a gold buyer with the machine and he said it was gold filled I brought it back home and tested it again with acid and scratched it even harder three times in the same place and it came out as 10 karat the 14k acid test would dissolve it but the 10k acid test would not
