"It's deja vu all over again!" - Yogi Berra
I'm pretty sure that's the quote, and I know it's Berra who gets credit for it. For the longest time this afternoon, at the silver farm, all I found was pennies, one after the other. Some were wheats, which was a relief; otherwise, it was Memorial Day (pun intended). Finally, a clad quarter, and another, and another, then a pair of clad dimes. I moved a short distance away to a parking area where earlier in the summer I found a silver Rosey, intent on adding the silver for the day so we could go home. My first hole over there produced three wheats, and I figured a piece of silver was only a matter of time. The next good find was a 37 wheat and another Pittsburgh Railways token stuck together in the same hole. Finally, I got a pretty nice signal that usually means silver and out popped a 37 Merc. I got out yesterday but didn't post, only finding .90 in clad and Memorials. The day before, however, I posted a 37 Merc and a "walker" - a Pittsburgh Railways token. What are the odds of two days like that? The big difference today was lots more clad and lots more wheats, maybe ten. I'll clean 'em and add to the total below. It was another beautiful day in our neighborhood; I trust it was in yours! Is it kosher to just post Wednesday's picture again? So there's no deception, the picture below was not today's, but they are the same finds.
