it's here!!!

My Ace 250 arrived this afternoon at my office. It's the first metal detector that I can call my own! I assembled it (is it possible to put the coil on facing backwards) ??and off I went during my lunch hour. The building that I work in is located on a big parcel of land, so I just walked out back, turned it on and immediately started getting hits. Now I'm frustrated, because I didn't have my digging tool with me!! Oh, well, there's always tomorrow

Yes, and then it will only detect Canadian coins.

When you get that tool dig everything. This will get you to learn the detector's language and also get you practiced at digging smaller and smaller holes. The less time you spend digging the more time you can spend detecting (and the less ground damage that might get Those In Power PO'd at you).
