I read an article about a near forgotten town and looked it up on the PC via Google World. Noted a street called Park. The wife and I drove over to check it out and found a small public park and ball field!
A quick look around and I didn’t see any previous MD activity. Hmmmm!!!
Then yesterday I was there bright and early with great expectations….... I spent around 3+ hours cleaning out the 1 or 2 remaining pull tabs, a few rusty pop caps and this Junior Police badge that ID’d as a screw cap at 4”.
The poor old badge turned out to be very fragile. 1950s I figure. At the time it went in the junk side of my apron. Then today as I was looking it over I got to thinking what the heck, why not!
So a little cleaning and some Super Glue and here it is.
