found this odd looking thing while out hunting arrowheads. The field had been plowed but not yet disked and this was laying at the edge of the grass. When I first saw it I thought it was an impression in the dirt. Then I realized that it was more like 3D. It was actually raised from the ground. What I thought was an animal track turned out to be a chunk of dirt with four wild onion bulbs around one side. One of those things that make you go hmmmm......

Interesting - almost like BigFoot compressed the ground and the rain and weather just removed the dirt around it! Thanks for sharing...

yes I do. There used to be an Indian camp site here. Of course the previous owners grew up on this farm and the oldest son told me that filled a 55 gallon drum just a little over half full with points, tools, and other whachamacallits, all from that same field. That's been about 50 years ago. To this day I still find them when they turn the ground. It must have been a very productive camp.
