today we had cold and frozen ground. I still went out for 2 hours mainly to ty out my new Sorrell boots (they worked great). Found 2 good keepers in the frozen tundra. First was a 1906 IHP from 8'. Then I got a dime signal that read 7.5" on my Sport. With the 12 x 15 coil I knew it would be deeper. At 9" I finally pin pointed it in the middle of the hole. Turned out to be one of the best if not best looking Barber dimes I ever dug. It's a 1908 S and shows very little wear and still a bit of luster, Thanks for looking and Happy Hunting to all
