It's Scrambles Birthday today!

Scrambles the Wonder Chicken, all 10 pounds of dumb, is 6 years old! She is now a "hump nosed" chicken as she has a prominent hump on her beak where it healed after the fox attack some weeks ago.

Also of note, Buttercup and Big Red also turned 6! These are some OLD birds.

AND, it's my fault of course, the real Smokey the cat, now 13, got shoved off the bed just because he was barfing on my pillow today. Now he's limping as cats don't always land right.

Gotta love it.

Definitely old chickens! And there isn’t a cat owner alive that hasn’t shoved their barfing cat off the bed. Hopefully he stops limping and doesn’t cost you a big vet bill.

They had canned cat food, a favorite treat, today. Two cans. "Poultry Platter" no less.
