not much time out hunting; been super busy with other
ventures, but have been coming across some interesting finds.

Not until the end of this year; Still a lot to
ends to tie up and then it is going to be lots
and lots of time collecting all the junk I come
across and smelling the roses.

it is a good place for info. Just have to find the
time to follow up on so much of it.

all is well, 8) 8) soon.

River Rat,
you can find them here and there. Not only along
railroad related areas; seek and you shall find. Just
keep an eye open whenever you see a RR tie, check
out the last 3 feet or so on each end, may take some work
but roll it over; CAUTION; ties laying on the ground,
after some time, will have some rot........yellow jackets
just love them.

Nice finds. It's been awhile since I saw some of those date nails.

If memory serves me right, I seem to recall, as a kid, we used to go out and get date nails out of old telephone poles too.
