I've only found a few silvers with my Deus

I've only found a few silvers with my Deus, but they have been good silvers !

Well the broken one was actually a fake period sixpence, but the other 2 are nice hammered silver, one an Edward penny 12th-13th century, and the other a James 1st 16th century, there pretty hard finds in my area so well happy with them.

I've been using the Deus about 2 months, i don't really hunt that much for more modern type coins, so my silver count is usually low.

I was in a coin dealers shop having a coin examined when he mentioned he has a collection of counterfeit coins. I said I would like to see that so he pulled from a safe and showed me a large albumn filled with counterfeit coins from all over the world. I thought it was strange and curious until he said some of them are worth more than the legitimate coins.

Counterfeit coins are collectable and some quite valuable, apparently.

I too, happen to collect the counterfeits although I haven't gotten any from other countries yet, I find it fascinating the length some go to make a fake. Nice finds and yes even the fake......
