Hello my friends, I live in France and I want to buy a long scoop.
There is no scoops in France and I will buy it in US.
Can you help me for to choose it!!

What kind of sand do you have in France? I use the beach brute 2, The Nuttall scoop is a good one to , Sold mine because the handle was to short , But they now make it with the longer handle ,48 inch i think. If i knew they were going to make the handle a bit longer i would of bought the Nuttall. COTTON

From looking at all the ones I have found, the Nuttall looks the best to me.
Some of the beaches here are tough and the pointy end looks like a digger.
Beach Brute looks better for soft sand. It may be able to lift larger amounts of
sand and old cans. LOL and goodies.
I find a lot of nails here from old bonfires with pallets.
Both are expensive to me.
Am working on a "Cheap" sand scoop that I hope to market.
Not as good as these fine products, but something that the the tourist can do.

I use the Beach Brute II scoop, it works here on both the East and West coast. The East coast is hard pack sand amd works goood, the west coast of Florida has a shell bottom and it works well there also.............

You like the ability to use your foot to shove a scoop into the sand/shells right?
I like the pointy end for that.
How do the wire basket end things hold up to that?
I just can't see it.
The BBII looks like the best to me except it is made of aluminum. ( and no pointy end).
I would think a stainless steel model would be better.
Maybe wrong, but you have to wash the aluminum ones after every trip?

Beach Brute II doesn't have a wire basket, even with the point scoop you will still have to use your foot...

I rinse all of my equipment when I finish hunting to get the salt and sand off but that is just me.
