Nice digs, pg! Cool looking ring.

Big congrats on the sterling ring

WTG on the ring! I've never found a good one...do they hit like a silver coin?

yes, I thought I was digging a silver coin. honestly don't remember if it was showing dime or quarter or what, I need to start paying more attention to that. I just think 'Oh thats a good hit' and then dig it you know.

Nice digs. There has got to be more! :)

Nice hunt! What is the thing next to the ring, above the middle wheat? It looks like there is writting on it. :icon_scratch: don't know maybe I'm just crazy.

...any idea on the >U< next to the sterling?

Nice finds!!!

The U with arrows or sometimes with one arrow through it is the hallmark of the Uncas Mfg. Co. out of Rhode Island. They used the mark that's on your ring from 1920-1988. They also made a line of kid's rings under the name "Kiddiegem". I think a lot of these were used as prizes at carnivals and fairs and they tended to get lost at the parks.

Man, I love finding silver rings! WTG!
