Jacobite Button

Dug today, a Pewter Jacobite Button.

I am certainly not doubting your ID Bharpring, but please help me out. I searched "the Google" but still feel undereducated on this topic. What makes it a Jacobite button ? Is that a Jacobite motif?

Hi Jeff H, this is something I ran across in researching a few other types of buttons a little over a year ago. My post is more of a question, than a statement about the Jacobite buttons. IMO this partial pewter button looks a lot like the example. But its probably just a fancy civilian button.
