Jade Button &MUCH MORE
For the last couple weeks my Dad and I have been pounding an 1830s homestead. I found what I believe is a jade button! Can anyone confirm/deny that it’s jade and not glass? This place has been amazing. We’ve mostly used sieves (hardly any detecting) and have found tons of buttons (including the gorgeous US Army button), blue glass beads, a silver spoon handle with worn down maker’s marks, a pair of iron serving tongs, leather shoe heel, sewing pins and needle, a sweet dinner knife w/ bone handle, huge fossilized shell, loom weights, clay toothbrush, fossilized boar tusk, and SO MUCH MORE!! This place is literally a dream.
